There's a fixed double bed in the overcab above the driver, and a second double made up from the rear lounge each evening, so two couples or a family of four each get a proper bed rather than a squeeze onto a dinette. All four travel seats have their own seatbelts.

Up front, cruise control, air conditioning and a reversing camera take the stress out of the drive. In the living area you've got a full kitchen (three-burner hob, oven and fridge-freezer), a washroom with a separate shower and toilet, gas heating, a TV, an awning and a bike rack. At 7.3m long it handles like a large van rather than a bus, and because it's under 3,500kg, any full UK car licence covers you.

What's included

Comprehensive motorhome insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance

1,000 miles per week (32p per extra mile)

A full handover before you set off (allow about an hour), and a walk-round check when you return

Kitchen and cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery

Good to know

Drivers must be aged 30–65

Collect from 2:00pm, return by 10:00am

3-night minimum hire

£1,000 refundable security deposit, taken at collection and returned within 7 working days

Dogs welcome subject to approval: £50 per dog, up to 2.
